Rails Head to Marshalltown For State Meet

The high school girls team is heading to the state meet! In fact, this year marks 10 straight years for the girls' team! The team attended Regionals this past week. First up was diving, which took place on Thursday night (10/25) at Johnston for the combined Johnston/SE Polk meet. Another “W” – This Time Against Ottumwa

The Lincoln high school women's team won big over Ottumwa with a final score of 108 - 62. The Rails went home with victories in nearly every event! A few notable swims include:
  • -- Abby Harrison's 1:10.34 100 Back
  • -- Torie Dott's 100 Free time of 1:06.22
  • -- Alex Bennett's 6:28.77 500 Free
It was a great wrap-up to the dual meet season. But this busy week isn't over yet! Oct. 19th brings the Metro Conference Diving meet, where Emilie and Cat will be competing. The meet begins at 5:00 p.m. and will end around 6:00 p.m. at Roosevelt High School. Oct. 20th is the Metro Conference Swim meet which begins at 4:30 p.m. also at Roosevelt High School.
