These girls are all returning to the team from last year! They trained hard all off-season to meet personal and team goals this year. Some will even be tackling new events from their freshman year. Read more about each girl below.
Mallory Albright | Mallory attends Norwalk High School and competes in the 50 Free and 100 Free. Her goals for the 2019 season include going Sub :60 in the 100 Free and to continue dropping time in the 50 Free. She’s most looking forward to spending time with the team at team dinners and meets while making memories.
Lauren Benson | Lauren attends Lincoln High School. She swims the 100 Fly and other events various events depending on the meet. She is aiming to qualify for state in the 100 Fly this season. She’s excited about spending time with her amazing. Lauren is also involved in soccer.
Ripley Berg | Ripley attends Lincoln High School. She swims several different events (50 Free, 200 Free, and 500 Free) depending on the meet. Ripley’s goal for this season to push herself in the 200 Free and other events. She’s most looking forward to reaching spending time with friends and the team dinners. She’s also involved in track.
Aubrey Douds | Aubrey attends is a Lincoln High School. Her main events for the 2019 season are the 50 Free and 100 Free. Her goals for this season are to go Sub :53 in the 100 Free and be at state in all four events. Aubrey is excited for making history with her “besties” and all the exquisite food. She also involved in JROTC.
Hannah Groos | Hannah attends Norwalk High School. She competes in the 100 Free and 100 Back. She has set a final goal time for her 100 Back of 1:00 and wants to join the Sub :60 Club in the 100 Free. Hannah is looking forward to the team dinners and team bonding. She’s involved in track, jazz band, marching band, student council, robotics, 4-H, The Iowa Student Learning Institute and Girls Who Code.
Brianna Neifert | Brianna attends Norwalk High School. She competes in the 50 Free and 100 Back. Brianna’s goals this season include seeing a an improvement in her swimming technique and dropping time while she improves. She’s most looking forward winning meets, making school history and reaching new personal bests. She’s also involved in marching band.
