These girls are all returning to the team from last year! They trained hard all off-season to meet personal and team goals this year. Some will even be tackling new events from their freshman year. Read more about each girl below.

Emma Chase | Emma attends Norwalk. She competes in the 100 Free and 100 Breaststroke. Emma’s main goals for this season are to reach 1:17 in the 100 Breaststroke and to become closer to members of the team. She’s most looking forward to reaching new personal bests, team bonding and making school history. She’s also involved in track, show choir, marching band, student senate and speech.
Josie Helm | Josie attends Lincoln High School. She swims the 200 Free and 500 Free. Josie’s goals for the 2018 season reaching new goal times of 5:45 (500 Free) and 2:08 (200 Free). She’s excited to reach new personal bests and enjoy team dinners.
Torin Lackmann | Torin attends Norwalk High School. She competes in the 100 Breaststroke and 200 IM. Torin’s goals for this year include qualifying for state and ending the year feeling accomplished. She’s most excited about eating with the team (team dinners, breakfasts, and post-meet celebrations) and having a quality 3 months with the team. After all, “everybody eats.” Torin is also involved in track and band.
Chloe Marquis | Chloe attends Norwalk High School. She swims the 100 Back and 100 Fly. Her goals for this season are to qualify for state in both of her events. Chloe is most looking forward to Thursday Morning Breakfast Club. She also swims USA swimming in the off-season.
Courtney Meyer | Courtney attends Lincoln High School. Her main events for this season are the 100 Back and the 200 IM. Courtney’s goals are to improve her times and her stroke technique. She’s looking forward to the team dinners, team bonding, making new friends and spending time with friends. Plus reaching new personal bests and making school history this season!
Tessa Orput | Tessa attends Carlisle High School. She competes in the 50 Free, 100 Free and 100 Breaststroke. Her main goal for 2018 is to get faster in the 100 Breaststroke. Tessa’s looking forward to winning meets and making school history along with reaching new personal bests and bonding with her teammates. She’s also involved in Track.
Ellie Sizemore | Ellie Sizemore attends Norwalk High School. She races the distance events of the 200 Free and 500 Free. Her biggest goal for this season is to go to State in the 500 Free. Ellie is excited about several aspects of high school swimming including: making school history, winning meets, reaching personal bests, team bonding, team dinners and the Thursday Morning Breakfast Club. She’s also involved in basketball and throwing (as part of the Track & Field team).
Anika Snow | Anika is homeschooled. She competes in the 50 Free and 100 Free. Her goals this season are to break the 50 Free record and go to state individually in that event. Anika’s most excited about reaching new personal bests, making school history and spending time with friends. She is also involved in choir and is an avid piano player.
Ava Zaugg | Ava Zaugg is Carlisle High School sophomore. Her main individual events are the 100 Fly and 200 IM but she’s also been know to race the 200 Free. Ava’s biggest goal this season is to make it to state an individual event. She’s most looking forward to the team bonding (including Thurs Breakfast Club and the team dinners), spending time with friends and making new friends. She’s also involved in advanced classes and TAG at school.
