Introducing the Rails Swim/Dive team juniors! They’ve joined the ranks of upperclassman and will be key leaders on the team this year. This group of veterans plays an important role in the success of the team, both for winning meets and for getting events to State. Learn a little more about each girl below:
Erica Benson | Erica’s main goal this season is to make the Regional team as part of the 200 Free Relay. She is also played soccer last season.
Grace Crady | Grace’s goals this season include swimming the 500 Free in under 5:40 and the 200 Free in under 2:08! She’s also involved in band and showchoir. Grace is one of our Norwalk swimmers.
Gina Goshon | Gina’s goals this season include dropping time in her events and having fun with her teams. She is also involved in band and is one of our Norwalk swimmers. Gina is most looking forward to the team dinners and bonding with the team!
Anna Jasper | Anna’s main goal for season is to improve from last year. She’s also involved in Robotics and JROTC. Anna’s most looking forward to bonding with her lane mates and fellow teammates.
Lanchi Nguyen | Lanchi’s goal for this season is to improve her 100 Free time. She’s also involved in band and track.
Emma Peterson | Emma’s goal for this season is to drop time in her events. She’s also involved in showchoir and is one of our Norwalk swimmers. Emma is most looking forward to taper and team bonding.
Keara Schmitt | Keara’s acting as team manager this season due to an injury playing summer basketball. But she’s still an active supporter of her teammates and will be cheering them on in meets! She attends Norwalk High School.
Gaby Vazquez-Espinoza | Gaby returned to the team for the 2017 season. Her goal for the season is to improve her times in all her events. Gaby is also involved in band, soccer, science bound, and, formerly, cross-country. She’s most looking forward to bonding with the team and seeing her times get better.
Ella Worth | Ella’s goal is to swim well this season. She’s also a lifeguard at Echo Valley Country Club. She’s looking forward to enjoying the time she has with the team.
