Sheila is a foreign exchange student from Albania. She has been a member of the team since the start of school this year. She lives with her host family in Norwalk and attends Norwalk High School. She also swam in Albania while growing up and wanted to give high school swimming in America a try!

Years on the team: 1 year

Favorite Part of Being on the Swim Team: Feeling good about swimming while in another country with American girls. The girls are fantastic and have made my two months here more beautiful. They’ve given be courage and helped me a lot.

SheilaCoach’s Comments: “Sheila is our first foreign exchange student on the swim team. It’s been a pleasure getting to know her, her host family and to learn more about Albania. I’m glad she’s enjoyed her time with us and know the other girls have benefited culturally from having her on the team. ”

-Brayton Weber, Head Coach

Future Plans: Attending a university for medicine

Last Comments: “Thanks girls. Thanks for everything you have done for me even in two months. I really like how I feel when I’m with you all. I feel like I am home.”
