Rails are 6-1 after a Victory over Carroll

The team loaded up onto a charter bus for the second meet in a row on Tuesday (9/16). This time they made the trip to Carroll to face our long-time rivals. The meet was competitive all night long. But the Rails were too much for the Tigers to overcome and Lincoln won 99-84!

Meet Highlights

The Rails many first places and several third or fourth places helped the team capture the win. Below are some meet highlights.

  • Jordan Greenwood took first in the 200 Free with a 2:10.15 and the 100 Free in :59.35
  • Ane Skartvedt’s 200 IM time of  2:33.52 earned her first place
  • Alexis Trucano’s 200 IM time of 2:42.42 was over 2 seconds faster than last week!
  • Sara Bennett won the 50 Free and anchored the 400 Free Relay in a new personal best time of :58!
  • Valeria Santiago swam a fast 100 Fly, 1:10.61, and took third
  •  Rails also won both Free relays!
