As usual, we’re inviting all of our Lincoln Swimming alums to come back for the annual alumni meet and cheer on the latest class of swimmers. We are also inviting our club families and other supporters to come out too.
Plus, we have the charitable focus to the meet, Pink in the Pool. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Iowa chapter of the Susan G. Koman Foundation for breast cancer research and treatments. Last year with the help of Lincoln Activities, BLH and SDMS, the team was able to donate over $2600!
Just like last year, all competitors will receive a free Pink in the Pool swim cap to wear during the meet. Any extra caps will be sold to fans for $5/cap. Read more about other Pink in the Pool gear below.
And the LHS Invite wouldn’t be complete without the chance for fans to win a prize! More details about the meet, the prizes and drawing rules are also below.
Saturday, September 27th
Diving will begin at 8:45 a.m.
Swimming will begin at 11:30 a.m.
The diving portion of the meet is free and the swimming portion’s admission is only $5/adult and $3/children.

Full Thank You Drawing Details
Each fan coming to the swimming portion of the meet will receive one free ticket. EX: Family of four comes to the meet, four tickets are given at the door to that family. Lincoln Swimming alums wearing old LHS team apparel will receive an extra free ticket at the door. We’d love to see those vintage team t-shirts or sweatshirts! It doesn’t matter if it’s from 2007 or 1977, wear it and get a free drawing ticket. Anyone wearing last year’s Pink in the Pool T-shirt also gets an extra ticket.
Receive extra drawing tickets when you buy a Pink in the Pool gear as outlined above.
Write your name and phone number on each ticket so we can contact you if you win. Please write clearly. Illegible tickets will be discarded and a new winner drawn.
The Thank You Drawings will be open until the athletic office staff working at the door leaves. This is about 2 hours.
The winners will be drawn after the meet. However, not necessarily immediately following. We need to clean up, print results, hand out medals, etc. We will try to draw winners as soon as we can.
We’ll call the winners immediately after drawing.
You are o
nly eligible to win one prize. If we draw your name for a prize and it’s drawn again for another, we’ll draw a new name.
Each winner will have 24 hours to contact us (if we have to leave a message) to claim their prize. Otherwise, we’ll draw a new winner.
Prizes will be mailed out the week following the LHS Invite.
It’s a big meet for the team as they aim to win it for the third consecutive year. Now that eight teams are attending the Invite, we’d love to pack the stands with maroon and gold! And with Lincoln Swimming donating money towards a good cause, it’s even better if we have a full house.
So come on out, show your LHS pride, and see (or remember) what a fun and exciting atmosphere a high school meet can be. Maybe you’ll even win a prize! All while making a difference here in Iowa.
