Here’s our final senior in the Meet The Seniors series. This series offered a great chance for all of our fans to see what outstanding young ladies help lead our team. We’ve posted a new spotlight article every week leading up to Senior Night 2013, which is October 14th at home. The meet starts at 5:30 p.m.
Emilie is both a varsity swimmer and diver. She’s worked over the last several years to succeed at both sports, often staying at practice late. She’s spent most of her senior year focused on diving. Emilie went to state in 2012 as junior. Plus – she was awarded the Tom Cady Achievement Award after the 2012 season for her prior year’s dedication to both sports. Read more about Emilie below.
Years on the team: 4 years

Years spent diving: 6 years
Favorite Win: It’s a tie between beating Hoover last year and the 2012 LHS Invite
Favorite Diving Quote(s): “Hand of Shame” and “Shin Fins”
Message For the Team: Work hard and support each other
Coach’s Comments: “Emilie has grown into an accomplished young adult over the last four years. She’s developed both the mental and physical strength to get back on the board after a poor dive or a hard smack. Those skills will serve her well in the future as she tackles new challenges. Emilie is a leader on the team and a role model for young club divers. I wish her the best going forward, beginning with a return trip to state!”
-Tereca Weber, Diving Coach
