Rails Swim Past Polar Bears

The Rails had a dominating performance on Tuesday (9/24). They took on the Polar Bears at North High School and came away with a solid win of 121-46.

While North has some good swimmers (including one girl who will be aiming for podium finishes at State), the Rails came ready to swim fast and they did! Plus – the team tested out a new line-up to prepare for the LHS Invite on Saturday (9/28).

Meet Highlights
Here’s a few highlights from the meet!

  • Olivia Simpson swimming a 27.97 in the 50 Free and earning first place

  • Sara Bennett’s 6:00 500 Free (so close to a Sub 6 minute!)

  • Valeria Santiago winning the 100 Fly in 1:12.02

  • Abby Harrison’s quick 100 Back time of 1:09.27

  • Sara Bennett’s 100 Free split in the 400 Free Relay

  • Plus – tons of events where the Rails took 1st and 2nd or 1st, 2nd and 3rd!

As always, we can’t recognize everyone, but congratulations to all the girls on a solid meet.
