Abby2We’d like to introduce our second senior in the Meet The Seniors series. These posts offer a great chance for all of our fans to see what wonderful young ladies help lead our team.

Years spent swimming: 8 years

Biggest Swimming Accomplishment: Breaking the school record in the 200 medley relay at the state meet as a junior.

FavAbby3orite Swimming Quote(s): “If it doesn’t hurt, it isn’t going to work”

Message For the Team: The early mornings are tough, and the workouts will get you down sometimes, but stick it out, work hard, and it will pay off at the regional meet!

Coach’s Comments: “It has been fun watching Abby come in as a freshman and deal with all the pressure of leading off our top relay each and every year. There has been some down times, and some up times, but Abby continues to do her best to push both behind her and focus on the here and now. That school record last year was huge, it showed that hard work does pay off, and I can’t wait to see what she does at the end of the senior year.”

Future Plans: Attending ISU for college.
