The high school girls team will be celebrating senior night in a couple of weeks. Leading up to their last home meet, we thought we’d do a Meet The Seniors series of posts on the website. It a chance for all of our fans to see what great young ladies help lead our team and have been with us through the years.
Torie has been an important piece of our team for a few seasons. She proudly earned the Spirit Award two seasons ago and shows it off while cheering on the Rails. She took up diving her junior season due to a shoulder injury and has greatly improved. Now she exclusively dives. Torie plans team activities, hosts parties and is all-around a champion of fun team activities. Learn more about her below.
Years on the team: 4

Favorite Win: TBD. I want to be able to say Carroll, the Lincoln Invite or Hoover this year. Or all three.
Favorite Diving Quotes: Hand of Shame! And of course, shin fins. You’d have to be a diver to understand.
Favorite Food From a Team Dinner: Real Mexican tacos. Yum!
Message For the Team: Don’t let morning practices get you down. The breakfasts are totally worth it!
“Torie has always been someone on our team that could be relied on to do her best and give everything she has in both swimming and diving. She has been an asset to our program for four years, both through her leadership and dedication” – Brayton Weber
“Torie never gives up. She’s always willing to try again, to correct a dive position, to stay a little late. Her determination to succeed is something I really admire about Torie. I’m excited to see how far she’s come, not only in diving, but in becoming the accomplished adult she is today.” – Tereca Weber
Additional High School Activities: Drumline and the Ambassadors Program at Park Ave.
Favorite TV Shows: Any and all crime TV shows like C.S.I., etc.
