Rails Win Double Dual vs Perry & Algona

The double dual meet against Perry and Algona fell on a busy Thursday (8/23). Lincoln was hosting its annual Fall sports kick-off event, the Chicken Bowl. That meant the five girls also participating in band were going to miss the meet, leaving only 10 girls to compete for the win.

But the Rails earned a victory against both schools! The final scores were LHS vs. Perry 64-29 and LHS vs. Algona 67-27

Here are few great swims we’d like to highlight:

  • Abigail Contreras anchored the B medley relay with a 27.58 50 Free
  • Jordan Greenwood earned another personal best in the 200 IM with a time of 2.36
  • Autum Song swam a 1:06 100 Fly
  • Evan Chidley swam a strong 500 Free with a time of 6:41
  • Valeria Santiago split a 29.80 50 Free in the sprint relay

Congrats to the team for two well-earned victories! The Rails swim against Indianola at home next Tuesday (8/28).
