Rails Win Big on Senior Night

The Rails beat East handily last night (1/24) on senior night. The final score was 125-45. Even with the team putting in a taper practice before the meet, there were still some great swims by the guys. Some include:

  • Kort Kern anchoring Medley Relay in a time of 23.62
  • Mitchell Friend earning a Top Five spot in the 100 Fly swimming a new personal best, 59.02
  • Hunter Hofmaier swimming a personal best 100 Fly, of 59 seconds
  • Keaton Trip winning the 100 Free in a time of 55.59
  • Luis Arias splitting 22.91 in the 200 Free Relay

The team had a great night celebrating their senior leaders and they look foward to ending the season on a high note at the Conference and District meets in the coming weeks.

Upcoming Events & Meets
Hair-Dying Party is tonight (1/25) at Lincoln. The team mom’s are helping out and bringing pizza. Don’t forget your camaras!

Head-Shaving Party for the all Conference guys is Friday (1/27) at the Chidley’s house. Parents of the conference guys are invited to attend and help shave their swimmer’s head. This is a lot of fun for the whole team.

Conference Meet this Saturday (1/28) hosted by East. The meet starts at 12:30 p.m. and admission is $5 ($3 for K-8th). Programs will also be for sale. T-shirts should be delievered to Lincoln for pick-up today (1/25) or tomorrow (1/26). Don’t forget to bring a check when picking up your shirt.
