Starting Off Right: 3-0 Record

The High School Women’s team finished the first week of meets right – ending with a 3-0 record. The recent swim meet against Fort Dodge concluded with a final score of Rails – 122, Dodgers  – 63.

Though the Rails won, there were several close races. By working hard to earn each race, the team improved and dropped more time.  In fact, the evening held some big milestones, including:

  • Two 500 Freestyle swimmers broke 6:40 (Evan Chidley and Alex Bennett)
  • Freshman Jordan Greenwood anchored the winning 400 Freestyle Relay, swimming her fastest time ever
  • Brittany Purscell is ranked #1 in the State for her 100 Breaststroke
  • Autum Song breaking the 100 Butterfly the Top Five List for women’s swimming. She’s now 5th All Time with her 1:07 time

Now the girls have a full week before their next meet, Dowling’s Sprint Classic Invitational. During this week, the girls plan to work diligently so they can continue to see improvement in their swims.

Congrats Rails!
