Lincoln Swimming is a rich tradition. Over the years, several excellant swimmers have come through the ranks. Their efforts can be found in the school records and Top Five Lists.
School Records feature the fastest time swam by a Lincoln swimmer(s) in that event, ever. This is why some records are 20+ years old; someone faster hasn’t come along. When a school record is broken, the new person’s name appears on the record board. The former owner will move down a spot on the Top Five List.
Top Five Lists feature the top five swims for each event for men’s and women’s swimming. These lists help showcase Lincoln Swimming history because more than one person is recognized. When a swimmer is the fifth fastest (or better) in Lincoln history, their name appears in the Top Five helping inspire others to be even more successful.
